Using WorthDex

WorthDex provides trading-card identification and price information for your personal use. Prices are estimates sourced from third parties and provided "as is." They are informational and not an offer to buy or sell.

The app is licensed, not sold, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies to your use of WorthDex.

Card information

Card names, sets, printed numbers, and rarities come from the TCGdex card database, which TCGdex publishes under the MIT licence. WorthDex displays that information as fact, and it can be incomplete or out of date, most often for a very new set.

Price information

Prices shown in WorthDex reflect third-party market data from JustTCG, the price-data provider we subscribe to. A JustTCG figure is a market observation, a volume-weighted average of sales activity rather than any single seller's price, and it may be delayed or inaccurate. Cards are matched to that data using TCGplayer product identifiers, which are catalogue reference numbers and not a price source. A recent-sold figure and an asking price are different numbers, and WorthDex never combines them into one. WorthDex shows the source and freshness of each figure so you can judge it yourself. We make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any trading decision.

Grading fees shown in WorthDex are the graders' own published figures, dated when we read them. They can change without notice, shipping and insurance are not included, and WorthDex does not tell you whether to grade a card.

Subscriptions

WorthDex Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. The annual plan starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers; the monthly plan bills from the start. Price, term, and renewal are shown before purchase, in your local currency. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and cancelling during the free trial before it ends means you are not charged. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings, or in the app under Profile → Subscription.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service, attempt to scrape or resell the data, or infringe others' rights.
